What You'll Do
This role will be responsible for: Developing and testing of new and existing embedded applications on Windows, Linux, Arduino, and web platforms for control of and interface with Aeroseal’s products.
Specific Roles and Responsibilities
- Hands-on software coding experience for embedded applications (C/C++, Java, etc.)
- Work within a defined software development process and revision control
- Actively gather, analyze, and document market, customer, and product needs.
- Recognize, analyze, and document risks associated with chosen or proposed design directions
- Actively participate in distribution of software to customers and support, as necessary.
- Research new tools, methods, techniques, etc., to advance the state of the art.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4-year degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc., preferred. Will consider equivalent demonstrated experience.
- 2+ Years Experience
- Proficiency in embedded software design and implementation (experience with C/C++ and/or Java a plus)
- Proficiency in wireless network protocols, such as BLE 5.2, Wi-Fi, Thread, etc.
- Proficiency in machine-to-machine communication protocols, such as I2C, CAN Bus, etc.
- Notable Pluses:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Linux
- Familiarity with schematic design & layout packages, such as Altium, OrCAD, etc.
