Builder Sales Representative, RNC

SUMMARY:

Aeroseal is looking for a Builder Sales Representative, RNC that will assist us in our mission by expanding Aeroseal’s presence in the residential construction market by directly engaging with potential and current clients. This will involve traveling within the assigned territories of PA, NJ, and NY to meet with builders, HERS raters, and dealers to promote and demonstrate Aeroseal’s products, negotiate sales contracts, and influence the adoption of innovative solutions in new construction projects. A successful candidate will be a driven self-starter, confident in engaging in technical conversations, and capable of building strong relationships with customers to grow and maintain the sales pipeline.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Management, Communication, or Liberal Arts is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated success in sales/business development, preferably in the construction industry or residential new construction product sales.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience working directly with builders, HERS raters, or in a similar capacity in the construction market is a plus.
  • Self-Motivated: Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative.
  • Sales Skills: Experience in lead generation, prospect management, and driving sales through cold calling, presentations, and relationship-building.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with potential customers and explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team, including coordination with management and other departments.
  • Problem-Solving: Creative problem-solver who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Learning & Growth: A strong desire for continuous learning, staying updated with industry trends, and expanding professional knowledge.

Additional Information:

  • Location: Candidate must reside in NJ, PA, or NY markets.
  • Travel: Travel is a significant part of the role, requiring up to 50% travel time, including overnight stays.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales Growth: Meet and exceed sales projections, generating ongoing sales opportunities and achieving company and individual KPI goals.
  • Business Development: Prospect for new business, identify and qualify potential clients, and secure new business relationships.
  • Lead Qualification: Follow up on leads from digital campaigns, conferences, tradeshows, and referrals, converting them into sales opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with current and potential clients, particularly builders and HERS raters, to drive sales and product application.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and leads in Salesforce, ensuring up-to-date tracking of all prospective client information.
  • Industry Networking: Attend industry conferences, tradeshows, and product demonstrations to build brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with management to plan, forecast, and align sales strategies with overall company goals.
  • Product Knowledge: Become an expert in Aeroseal products, processes, and operations to effectively communicate technical benefits and solutions to customers.
  • Market Insights: Keep up to date with the latest trends in the construction industry, building science, and relevant codes, to ensure sales strategies remain aligned with market needs.

The estimated pay range for this role is $80,000-125,000. Actual pay is based on various factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate’s experience, skills, knowledge, and job location.
